Power system study on the entire SESB power network for year up to 2025 to determine the optimum injection point from Sarawak to SESB grid from system reliability and security point of view. Mitigation requirements for the existing system were highlighted; equipment design studies and functional specification on equipment were also included.
Power system study on injection point from system reliability and security including power flow, short circuit, contingency, transient stability and frequency excursions. The selection of the connection voltage together with the mitigations required due to the injection of the Upper Padas Hydroelectric Project to the SESB grid are included in the study.
Investigation of technical issues on HVDC transmission options Vs HVAC options and work together with SwedPower consultant (Sweden) and Teshmont consultant (Canada) for 1200 MW Hydro options from Sarawak to Sabah for a distant of over 600km. Load flow studies, Transient stability study, small signal stability studies, subsynchronous torsional oscillation study, and equipment design studies […]
Power system study to the entire SESB power network due to the injection of the new proposed 300MW power plant at Kimanis into SESB grid. The power flow, short circuit, contingency, transient stability, frequency excursions were carried out. The engineering study and conceptual design were also included.
